Alright folks, it's getting close to that time of year that holds a special place in all our hearts.
The annual [SIZE="4"] Carolina Broncos November Run[/SIZE] at Uwharrie will be held [SIZE="4"][COLOR="Red"] November 10th and 11th.
[/COLOR][/SIZE]
Go to Recreation.gov to book your campsite at Arrowhead Campground, NC before they are all gone.
Some of us will arrive on Friday afternoon to hit the trails early.
Officially, we will kick the event off at the Eldorado Outpost @ 9AM on Saturday.
Let's post up who is planning to attend and be sure to let us know your campsite numbers.

There will be a great lose this year. As we will not be able to go to boondocks since they closed done. I really feel sorry for chuck cause I know how much he loved that place. How about a moment of silence for chuck and his beloved restaurant.

They seemed to be in the process of expanding when we were last there and it was packed. How can they have possibly closed down? Must have had a real financial genius at the helm.

Not sure what happened, but it is true. My guess is that the busy weekends weren't enough to keep it afloat. During the hot summer months, attendance on the weekends at the park is way down. Spring and fall seem to be the busy times, guess it wasn't enough. Sucks.

i plan on being there as i am in the process of installing 3 1/2 inch lift

I knew that was coming. You get a pass this year because you are having a baby but don't think that precludes you from getting your balls busted for it! :beer: :thefinger:
