CB4x4 Hell Week**aka-Ultimate Adventure**
#41
Ya'll are gonna make me put some long arms and squishy soft riding rear springs on my junk so I can make it 150 miles without bouncing my bladder into a pit stop!! A year to plan?
:xyxthumbs: ROCKNROLL!!

Yes, yes, and yes. Oh, and we are planning 200+/- mi legs on avg. Potentially multiple locations on the same day(s). Get ur sh!t together cuz the hurt is comming bro. I suggest you wait to commit until you see the proposed itinerary. This ain't no joke! "Hell Week" will be quite the understatement.

Spare fuel pumps and a 55 gallon drum of fuel should be added to the list IMO. LOL LOL Seriously, just read the entire thread and the idea sounds awesome to me. It's something that Chuck and I have talked about for years since it seems damn near impossible to get into the ultimate adventure (invite only). That is of course, if you guys dont mind a K5 tagging along....I am ready to do what it takes to get the truck ready for such an event. I came back from URE last weekend actually ready to to take the K5 to the next level. Bout to ditch the 400/208 for a granny four speed and a 205. Gonna try and pick up a winch here soon and get the 6.5 turbo swap setup installed. Need better steering (hydro assist)and softer springs...And just about every thing else on the list....Im down if yall will have me.

Anyone care to contact Duff's to see if they would be up for coordinating some guided trail runs in their area? Might be an idea.

You've got my vote moody. I am on the fence with this in a big way, given time and cost involved. Will keep pondering for now.
