Heading down to Johns Island on Friday morning, lunch?!!!
#1
Calling out the Chucktown EBers to see if they want to eat lunch this coming Friday. I'm picking up a top from Dixieboy then meeting up with NCSU afterwards to look at his vintage truck he's working on. I know its not the first Thursday of the month but hopefully we can get two or three of yaw to join. Not familiar with any local eateries but I do want something that's original and only found in that area. Any ideas greatly appreciated! Matt

I am flying Friday afternoon, but I may be able to squeeze out of the pre-brief and meet with y'all beforehand. Let me know when and where.

Chuz, I'm relying on Jeremy and or Brad bc I have never been to JI. I will be logistically challenged! You think you will be around at 11-1130?

Since Matt is gonna be on JI my suggestions for lunch were Tomato Shed or JB's Smokeshack. I'm up for either one. Would love to see some Bronco brothers!

Sorry Matt, I don't think I can make it. I'm leaving work early to head out of town with the wife. I would also suggest the Southern General, awesome food (across from The Fat Hen on Maybank). JB's is always good and The Tomato shed would be my 3rd choice. If by Chance I can skip out of work extra early I'll let y'all know.

Let me know what y'all decide on for location. It's a 40 minute drive from the base, so I will be cutting it pretty close if I am able to break free.

It's all about the same on JI so don't choose on my account. Chuck is working on a project at work.

Someone else told me about the Southern General so that sounds like the spot! I say lets meet at 1200 noon. I can waste some time lying about something with Brad and Jeremy for two hours as long as Chuzie can make it, that goes for you too Doug. See you guys tomorrow!

Southern General at noon sounds good. I haven't been there yet but heard good things. Give me a call when you finish up at Brads and I can guide you to the house if you need.
