We got some trash picked up out on Dutch John and also blocked some bypasses near the bottom of the big hill climb. Clays steering issued bared its ugly head once again as his steering locked up again so its back to the drawing board to try and figure what is causing this. Mine went to smoking like a train and I am thinking it may be the oil drain holes in the head are stopped up. Hope that is all it is. If not I will be building a motor sooner than I was planning. All in all I enjoyed another day at URE. No Pics today sorry....

If anyone noticed yesterday My smoke trail that was covering the hills I have fixed the problem i think. I changed the oil and filter today and hopefully I have gotten most of the bars Leak conditioner out of the system. It had practically stopped a 2nd oil filter up. Be warned if you decide to try this quick fix it will stop your oil flter slap up and it will smoke like a freight train on a steap uphill grade. It does seem to have slowed the rear main leak some. Bart i checked and I do not have your pinch bar. Hopefully Clay will have it.

Haven't seen a pinch bar in my truck. Is it the one Charles used to pull the pitman arm?

YES Jay that is the one we seem to have lost. I will find one to replace his somewhere. Hard to find one with that Patina on it.

My guess is we left in on the trail. More than likely it's still there beside the split rail section we put up
