Brake Line Plumbing with 4-Link (calling Broncomania!)

Just want to make sure I am planning this correct before I go buy my lines. The line to the rear needs to run down one of the upper arms. That means there needs to be a soft connector line at each end of upper arm that is used for routing, right? How did you make your soft connector line, or did you find an off the shelf brake line that worked? Did you connect back to hard lines at each end or continue with soft lines? Any tips or tricks?

I have seen braided lines as connectors.

I buy only braided stainless for my flex lines. Usualy summit racing has what I need. Just watch for single and double flare. Dont want to mix them.

i use braided lines.
from my rear calipers to the axle its braided line . then goes into hard line across the rear axle tube. from that hardline into a T then from the T i use braided line and its strapped to the upper 4 link bar. from there to the frame. then hardline on the frame all the way to the front. anywhere there is movement you have to use rubber or braided line.

I do not have as much travel as broncomania. My lines run down the frame to a braded line back to hard line. , not the upper links.

lets keep it simple, anywhere a line has to bend it needs braided steel. Hydrolics are simple. Be safe, use braided steel, and new hard lines where ever posible.

I know that soft lines are necessary where it needs to move/stretch. My main question was what material on the upper link (hard or soft) and how did you make the various connections (hard to soft and back to hard, etc.) What I found at Summit was -3AN soft lines (Earls) and I plan on running 3/16" hard lines so I need to stick with a soft line that will plumb to the 3/16" to avoid adapters from pipe thread to -AN. I plan on spending some time at the parts store looking through the "store-bought" brake lines to come up with an easy solution.

On a side note, what master cylinder are ya'll running for 4 wheel disc brakes?

my master cylinder is from toms bronco and when i ordered it i specified that i had 4 wheel disc. all my hard lines are 3/16 . from my frame to my axle is braided steel.
