3" body lift and 2" spacers for '09 FSB

they will fit but balloon out some. and the stock backspacing might cause them to rub on the inside on full sharp turns. i'd get some cheap 15x8 and run those. you can get some cheap black steel wheels for hardly nothing from jegs, summit, or 4 wheel parts.

Am I ok going with 3" body and 35X12.50's or should I just stick with 33's.

Another thing to consider, if you don't regear, you truck will be slower with the 35's then the 33's. How much is debatable, but I run my FSB on 35's right now with stock 3.55's and it drags. I'd say my biggest complaint is having to downshift for every hill, this become especially annoying when trying to maintain a speed on the highway. I'm not trying to discourage you, I love my 35's, and once I get my one tons installed, I'll have everything geared appropriately (and larger tires for that matter), but in the mean time, I live with because I like the look and off-road performance (that is, if I ever went off-roading these days).
Just something else to consider, my vote would be for the 35's.

Hi All,

After a lot of research (and selling my wife on it ;-)), I've decided on a Performance Accessories 3" body lift with Pro Comp rear add-a-leafs. I bought a set of Pro Comp 16X8 allow wheels and 5 315/75/R16 Dunlop Radial Rover M/T retreads.

My question to the group here is what will I need to make this work? Any extensions/additions?

Since you are lifting the body, there are no drivetrain/braking/shock issues (edited: maybe the rear shocks, I can't remember if they are mounted to the frame or body) other then steering shaft, MAYBE the brake lines out of the master cylinder, but I doubt it, and gas filler neck. That really should be it. I just installed new shocks on my Cent, the rears attached to the frame, so you should be good there. I mentioned the Brake lines out of the Master Cylinder, but I've never heard anyone mention it, so I doubt that's needed. All I've ever heard is the fan shroud, filler neck, and possibly the steering shaft. And as Jon (Ogeechee) pointed out, the negative battery cable (Good catch! :biggthumpupSmile

I'm an idiot...I don't need the rear add-a-leafs b/c the front sags on stock Bronco, correct?

How about new springs in front to balance front and back.

Thoughts?

It's not that the front sags, it's just how the Bronco was designed. Most lifts have a 2 inch difference between the front and rear (i.e. my front is 6 inch superlift, my rear are 4 inch BDS leafs).
I think you can use some kind of spacer up front to get a little lift, though I don't know how highly it is recommended. I also don't know how high you can go before you need to drop your axle pivot points and radius arm mounts.
Based on what you have written, I would say do the three inch body lift, put the 35's on, if the fenders require a little cutting, then do it, and run it that way. Then, if you still want to lift it, save up and invest in an actual suspension lift. Of course, you may find that after driving and wheeling the suspension lift, you want to do an SAS up front, and everything just rolls down hill from there.
