Do vacuum lines plug in here?

It's a 1989 302. On the engine side of the throttle body (as opposed to the side facing the battery) there are two brass nipples. I just noticed them last week. They're now capped, but I never remembered having anything attached to them. They were shiny like something had been on them but i'm clueless (just like normal :bdentSmile

Also, I looked on the bronco, but the 351 throttle body doesn't have these. I thought the throttle bodies were the same. Apparently not Confusedcratchhe:
