Just rebuilt the heater box with new seals and upgraded motor. When I was done I had a spring looking piece (right side black) left over and cannot recall where it lives. Any takers?

Also, what is the function of this electrical dealie I have pictured on the left? I cannot see how it has any function in this heater with the new Chevy motor.
