Do vacuum lines plug in here?

It's a 1989 302. On the engine side of the throttle body (as opposed to the side facing the battery) there are two brass nipples. I just noticed them last week. They're now capped, but I never remembered having anything attached to them. They were shiny like something had been on them but i'm clueless (just like normal :bdent

Also, I looked on the bronco, but the 351 throttle body doesn't have these. I thought the throttle bodies were the same. Apparently not cratchhe:

cratchhe:hey geech those fittings on the 89 302 werefunky two lines came off the throttle body then curved underneath the throttle body teed together above the valve cover to become one, and then traveled out now i'm hazy on remembering if the charcoal canister, or the air pump thermactor valve was supplied by that timed vacuum source. no also some applications had the ports simply plugged hopefully that'll help you hosscratchhe::thefinger:

I think i remember the 2-into-1 hose you're talking about now. I've been seeing it laying in the yard for about a year or so. I hope I havn't run over them with the lawnmower. cratchhe:

the two brassnipples t into a heater hose....they run hot water through the intake to help atomize fuel faster....its supposed to help on horse power and emissions but you can block them off and not use them............
