Welch Racing Build thread
#1
I finally got my head clear with my bothers passing. A few weeks before he died we were talking about racing the bronco some this year. He wanted me to drive because he said he was thru racing. We had also been talking about modifying the bronco to enter into the Top Truck Challenge in 2010. He was on board with the idea. Anyway, It needs some TLC to get it back to racing form and I have started working on it. Hopefully I will have it ready for the May mud race in Sanford NC. I may need some help from the group on getting some of the work done. I want to change up the front clip. It is a fiberglass front at least of what is left of it. I want to go back to original panesl and hood. Some of the suspension needs changing. Anyway this is the start of my new build thread.

I need some longer travel springs for the front. Anyone have used ones they need to get rid of?

I want to change the radius arms. They hang down to far with that drop bracket under the cab. Got to figure out if I should cut the wedges off the axle and weld on new brackets for heims. Or-- can I come up with a new radius arm welded or hinged to the existing radius arm ends. The front end is an older model Dynatrac 60. Any ideas?
