1990 Bronco Front Locking Hub Question
#1
We just replace out automatic hubs with locking hubs and the one hub seam a little loose, all the bolts are tight but it has a little wiggle in it. Is this ok or do i need to shim somthing?Confusedcratchhe:

Not really sure about washer or springs. We got the truck back from East Coast Gear last month after installing gears and they replaced the hub to manual hub for us. When i say movement I mean a LITTLE movement. Is a little movement bad???

Thanks

Mine doesn't move or wiggle at all. I'm not sure if "a little" is ok. Someone will tell you just be patient. :xyxthumbs:

I don't like the sounds of that... It's normally just the opposite.. you have to push the outer axle out to get the locknut on all the way... I'd definitely give chase (ECGS) a call... if it's wrong, he'll make it right!

definetly take it back, if there is play in there it indicates a loose component. Posibly an incorrect spring or a missing part. Water will certanly get in there if you wheel like that.
New hubs should be super tight, some times they even feel to tight.
I would give them a call.
