Precision Gear vs Yukon?

keep us updated. your first gear setup is a great learning experience that come with a steep learning curve. You will do fine just don't get impatient. Extra time invested in properly setting up the gears will be worth eliminating the need to replace the down the road due to failure.

I admire you for trying to do it on your own. How much did you have to invest in the tools alone?

Thankfully, I had most of the tools... just missing the Mic and Dial indicator... I cheaped out and got a $30 "digital" micrometer from Carquest and headed to HF for a cheap ($25ish, I hope) dial indicator. The first thing that I've learned is that it's 100% worth every single penny for someone ELSE to install these for me. I think I'll sub this out in the future! LOL.

Nah, it's not nearly that bad, if I weren't in such a hurry, but darn... I have a newfound respect for those of you who know how to do this correctly! I'll post up some paint patterns this week... I hope.
