JP, you're running 3.54s? I had no idea. That transfer case really does a lot for you huh?
Hey Bucket, I found a Richmond Gear 4.56 (9") set on Ebay for 100.00 but who is making sets of 4.56 that will fit on 3.54 carriers that you had mentioned?
Well its the NP435 trans.

I'll second tim on this, 456 is what I would use for 35's if your going to drive it on the street. You will need another center chuck to put your lock right into.
I agree with chuck that some times gears are better than braking down a hill. Something to consider is a modifed vavle body. I run the auto tranny and I have compresion braking. I pop it in 4low and wratchet down to 1'st. Dont have to use the brakes much.
This is done with an aftermarket valve body. Mine is old school, but you can get them from b&m or Art carr. Add a wratchet shifter and crawl away.

Thanks for the info Matt. I need to look into those valve bodies. I wonder how much new carriers cost? Time to start looking.

I don't even see where people are selling different carriers to support 4.11 and up. I would like to see the cost difference involved with purchasing a standard gear with new carrier vs. purchasing the adapted gear set that will fit.
Anyone know who sells these larger carriers?

How do you find this stuff on their site but I can't?
I will call Mike tomorrow. It makes sense to but the set that will fit what I have and avoid spending extra $$$. Only question is quality of the brand. I have never heard of them but I find it difficult to believe Mike would let crap go out the door with his name on them.
