EFI wiring harnesses
#1
Since Ryan at RJM has gone MIA right when I was going to buy a harness from him I need to evaluate other options.

My question is how does the RJM harness compare to the Ron Frances harness?

I see that that RF harness says it has RJM technology. Does it have the same color codes, connections, etc.?

I know some folks that are using the RJM harness and I would like to use the same only because it may save me some install/trouble shooting time in the future.

I'd see what z70what ended up with... I think it was from Summit. RJM's product is top notch, but what is it without support?

He did go with the Summit product. He just responded to my thread on Classic. I'm still hmmmn' and hawwn' on this. I was also looking at the Ron Frances Harness for about the same price, and it has the "RJM technology". I'm sure Ron Frances has some type of customer service. They have been around for a while now.

I know that he did his own harness and he did the one in my racer. ie- he knows his stuff... Just need to take that knowledge and turn it into profit. just need some wire, connectors, and customers Big Grin

I think they are all scared after fordfuelinjection site got sued. As a product I like Fords as a company I hate Ford, they are only pushing a new product and do not want their older products supported. Being sued into poverty by a very big and powerful company is nothing to laugh at.

I've got another option, since I have the Mustang harness. There is a company called Kolibar that will take a Mustang harness and service it for a Bronco retro fit. it costs a lot less. I just worry about reusing electrical parts/connections. I'm sure that they test everything before shipping back, but there is something to said about buying new.

i saw that post on classic to doug...if the halfcab ever gets to that point...ill be doing the loibar option too.i think the wiring will be fine, and if they test all of it, im sure they would replace a strand of wire thats bad.
