As always I'm over-thinking this situation. I like how 744x4 has plumbed his high pressure fuel pump - he has a low pressure pump before the HP pump which keeps it primed. I'm doing the same thing and have it lined up in this order:
1. Fuel Cell
2. Low Pressure Inline Fuel Filter
3. Low Pressure Inline Fuel Pump
4. High Pressure Inline Fuel Pump
Now I've got to thinking - my only filter is the cheapo low pressure filter. What's the big difference in the low pressure and high pressure filters besides dollars? I've also got a HP filter that I would like to use, but does it make sense to put this between the HP pump and motor, or is that overkill? Would it hurt to replace the LP filter with the better quality HP filter even though it will only have high pressure? I know I need something before the LP pump to help prevent failure cratchhe:
Do any of you have a similar set-up or are you just running a HP pump and filter?
Thanks,
Robert
