Fuel Odor

I've recently replaced my old carb due to a fuel leak but I continue to smell a strong fuel odor from my Bronco. I'm not able to find a visible leak in the fuel line. Could this be a vent leak? If yes, does anyone have advice on the best way to locate and fix? Thanks, Trey

Is it dual tank, glass hatch open/closed, any holes in the floor, where do exhaust tips exit?

are you sure it's fuel or exhaust?

It was a dual tank initially but I've removed the smaller auxiliary tank and gone with a higher capacity tank in the rear. When I added the new rear tank I had to cut my exhaust pipes so they actually exit under the bronco at this point. This obviously adds to the exhaust odor while driving but it's not too bad. The floor has been restored but there could be a few holes in seams underneath. The odor is most noticeable when the engine is turned off and the bronco is closed up in the garage.

I think I may have found the source. The old auxiliary fuel lines are plugged but there appears to be some leaking around the end points. I think I may try removing the lines completely and plugging the auxiliary fuel tank ports directly.
