I was just about to purchase the kit from BC and then I saw the 20 $ shipping and backed out. The kit is reasonably priced at under 37.00. I refuse to pay that hi of shipping. What is wrong with a if it fits it ships box from the USPS? Reckon I am back to fabbing my own.

The biggest thing you'll be up against in making your own kit is the DOM tube used for the sleeves. If you can source something for that, you're good to go

Careful putting a plate between the box and the frame it will change your drag link length.

The biggie is making some reinforcement tubes on between the frame. Easily done but easily forgotten

[Image: b5877a839a251fdab80007129e9d6afe.jpg] The Outer plate is fabbed using a piece of 3x5 rectangular tubing disected and drilled for my purposes. The stock supports inside the frame look good. I am running 33 inch tires and after I do this reinforcement I think it will be stout enough for 33 or 35 inch tires. If not I can always do it again.[Image: bdeec1ea1af19f977eb70dfda8cf5c0f.jpg]

OK I give up. Has anyone found a alternative to WEst Texas for rebuilding the Steering Sector?

Clay should know considering his recent experience.
