Looking good Jp, how about an extra brace/bolts. Nothing like ripping out the tips of your frame.

You can use the rear underside bolt holes also that are farther back in the frame but getting a nut on them sucks.Thread the bumper itself and it is easier.

Mount your bumper where you want it. Drill the hole to match the hole in the bottom of the frame. Remove the bumper from the truck. Put a bolt through the hole with a nut on the inside of the mounting channel of your new, spiffy bumper. Weld the nut in place. Take the bolt out and replace the bumper into the frame. Everything will line up and just put the bolt back in and tighten. Doesn't take much of a weld to hold the nut in place but practice makes a better weld.

For even more beef, I added braces that go back to the engin girdle(the brace in the frame). That will add support to the end of the frame. I used the two holes that were there. Just dug up some realy long bolts to fit.

Well, it has been used once (that we know of)... He has pulled an RV with that thing! Must have gone straight home and polished it up just for us! LOL!

Sorry for the HiJack... back on topic... When I do get my EB to that level, I'll be having you guys build a pre-runner front bumper for me... :biggthumpup:
