I like the wedges with poly bushings, but I dont like welding extensions onto the arms. If you used heims, we could make some tube arms. That would allow the caster to be changed.

Finally got the motor out a week ago and tore it down. I would say the crank is beyond repair.
New motor will go in this coming week. :xyxthumbs:

Good Progress Carl :xyxthumbs: Did you have another built motor for it already? Have you decided what to do on the arms?

I dislike the radius arms and I do not like the Wild Horse drop bracket. It sticks down to far. I also dislike the 14 bolt rear but it will have to do for now.

I have a new motor ready to go in. Neal's engine builder had one almost complete ready to go. It will be ready by mid week. Should be badass.

the bronco is in poor shape in general and there are lot of things I want to change and make stronger.

I need some ideas on new radius arms but have to take in consideration the big clamp attacment to the axle.Confusedcratchhe:

I took a few more shots of the front. I need suggestions on new radius arms. I hate they way the bracket sticks down. Also a few pics of the 14 bolt rear. This things looks pretty beat up.

I've heard of this before but what is the reason for the tennis balls inside the coils? Robert and Keith makes some pretty wicked aftermarket radius arms and the rear mount is considerably shorter than the bracket you now have.

Tennis balls in the coils - interesting... does it serve any purpose or just something that Neal did? I did not notice them in Knoxville several years ago when I drooled all over the bronco.

Are those arms already extended? Looks like it may be 2 arms pieced together. What direction are you thinking of? Check out what Keith and I made for his buggy project and JP. We used the stock axle end and sleeved some 1.75" x .250 wall tubing over it, welded the fire out of it, and used a summit machine joint on the frame connection end. We used ballistic fab brackets for the frame end which are a little lower profile than the WH drop.
