You were supposed to cut the excess off the stock Shock mounts and only mount the tabs to the arm.I guess you didnt get that memo either.Smile

I was thinking that the more the better ... Confusedcratchhe:

Also from the foot of my new mounts to the center of the bolt hole for the old mounts measured 4 3/4" ...

4-3/4" is pretty darn close to Keith's 4-1/2 so I'd say it's good to go :xyxthumbs: There are several variables that could cause some differences.

A half inch either way on the shock mounts isn't going to make a difference. You've got the F-150 shock mounts too so if the top mount is higher it's not like you're losing compression stroke.

More what Booger welds ?????????????????????????????

You dont have to be the best welder but you better be a good grinder to make it look good. You have too much wire speed and not enough heat thats why the beads sit on top insted of melting in.

I sure hope this is it for awhile :banghead:

I got all my new goods put together and buttoned up !!!

As I was putting on the drivers side brakes I dropped them and bent the steel brake line :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

So It is cracked and leaking bad BAD damn damn damn IT :crying:

Anyway I will get that fixed up tonight ... :xyxthumbs:

I was so happy and proud I did not care about the brakes so much and cruzed down highway 17 to my local spot for some testing !!! :chili:

So no brakes in the front and no windsheild ... John Paul, Kathy and I all piled up and rode down there :rebel:

The new radius arms Robert (sc74) and Keith (744x4) made a really big difference in the flexiness and sexiness of my "itty bitty" Bronco

The lockrite was amazing it would let me turn just like two wheeldrive which was 1 kabillion times better than the welded front Confusedhocked:

Then when we did a hill climb that joker locked tight and both front tires were slingin dirt :gunshot:

Could you tell a huge difference with the arms? Don't forget to grease them up real well. I want to see some flexy pics :rebel:

Congrats on getting it back on the road/trail again. I wish mine was drivable :crying:
