ECORS Class A race rig build
Then I got back to finishing the front end up. Got some tube bent and mounts fabbed for the headlights and grille. Came out pretty good. The only thing I don't like is that the headlight holes in the grille are 8" and the KC lights I am using are only 6"

Tacked in place:

Took the nose back off and welded it all up before it got dark.

Till next time...

Next project came out nice. I got a trans cooler with fan and wanted to get it all mocked up. Here is what I came up with. It is behind the pass. seat, but offset to the side some for air flow.

Hey did you check to see if the passenger head rest was gonna block air flow to cooler looks pretty close from the picture.

it shouldnt matter too much...ya only need about 1" clearance in front of the cooler...the fan will do the work.

looking sharp!!! good job:beer:

Also depends on the fan technically there are push and pull fan. The main difference is there blades are different. Generally speaking ones designed to specific push and pull fans are more efficient and pull higher cfms under load.

Looks like its coming along nicely. Starting to look more and more like a complete rig. You should be getting close to testing out that wiring harnes. Still confident it will work just fine, but there's always the little nagging feeling in deep recesses that keeps coming to the surface. How close are you to firing up the engine?

Keep up the good work and don't get discouraged.

Thanks for the encouragement. Been getting a lot done. Main thing is that I have the cage, interior, underbody, and underhood painted. I can finally start putting it all together. Most of the fab work is pretty well done. I am having fun now- except I think I have some metal in my right eye. Gotta see if I can go to the eye doctor today. It is killing me. Will update some pics soon. Yeah, should be able to get most of the wiring out of the way in the next week or so.s

Metal in the eye is no fun.. been there done that. Don't wait 3 days like me and let it rust into your eye. Keep up all the good work!
