Yep, been a mad wrench fest to get it ready. it is at the exhaust shop right now. i had to put another trans in it, got new (to me) tires for it and mounted them on rims, checking bolts, doing a ton of little things. still have a lot of little stuff to do, plus pack and get ready!!! still haven't run it for any length of time. hopefully it doesn't have any issues. no real way of knowing right now...

thanks for all the kind words. hopefully it goes as good as it looks Big Grin

well, if all goes well and we make it the entire distance, i will probably be shot after coming back on sunday. that will mean that i will have plenty of time to do another race report Smile

main thing i am worried about are keeping the engine and trans temps down. i have no idea on those... we shall see!

The event after this one is in Spartanburg. That should be a good one. You all are welcome to come out and hang out with us in the pits!

Charles,
When & where is the Spartanburg race? What is a typical cover charge?

I believe it is around July 9?

I hope everything is still intact in Alabama, they have been rock by some wicked weather over the past couple of days.

I believe the case on the tranny I built may have a crack in it, causing the hydraulics to some weird stuff. I have a spare case and will swap everything out when they get back.
