Well ive already got a 5.0 (needs major rebuild!) a freshly rebuilt tranny, and an 8.8 outta a turbocoupe. I have certainly considered doing something along those lines though! If i could find a V8 explorer that would be great, cuz i could install an 8.8 rear with discs, throw the wider dana 35 up front, and do the V8 swap. Only thing is i really want a 5 speed. I know a guy who will give me any standard mustang 5.0 gear I want, so I could start with an explorer motor, add mustang heads, intake etc, to get the power up a bit more. I'd better keep the hp under 250 or all my modding moneys gonna be going to the local police department in the form of speeding tickets, as well as my insurance!
lol. The other thing is, over 250hp in a Bronco II requires a good bit of bracing and chassis work.
