break light switch 68 bronco

:banghead:Have been fooling with this switch and can not get the lights to work. I have put a bushing in the rod and still nothing. There is power to the plug. I have it installed on the flat part of the push rod. I cant find a pic on the internet to make sure it is installed right... any advice? thanks Sean
