I installed the Lock Right in my 9" rear and it was a cinch so can't wait to put another one in the front which will be even easier.

The only reason I ever wheel at 5K is because I am having the push my front tire through the soup. Pretty sure than will no longer be an issue.

Kind of sucks that I just made this decision only 24 hours after I sealed up the front end from the fluid change. Time to drop an extra $3 on another gasket!

Oh, looks like JP will get his seal write-up too, along with the locker install, since I am going to be in the area anyway.

THanks for the help guys.

BTW- Found a lock right for 235.00 so works for me. Just gotta keep it a secret from the wife since I was bitchin about her doing so much shopping this week.

I went to pull the carrier out this morning and it looks like the outer races are rusted to the axle housing. The inner races are free because it turns just fine.

I gave it hell to get it out and it is not budging. I tried penetrant and a heat source, a ratchet strap, and even an air hammer (in moderation) and nothing works. I want to be careful not to damage the housing.

Any suggestions?

Someone please confirm this is the right seal for my axle. The idiots gave me the wheel seal today and now I have to go back.

The description show rear wheel but I am pretty sure this is front axle.
