Scored an awesome if not rare 302 this weekend. It is out of an early shelby gt 500 mustang. Motor has aluminimun shelby intake with the high performance heads. It came with the automatic C4. My question is what will it take to use the c4 in a bronco? I have the adapter for the dana 20.

Should bolt right in to the motor mounts. C4 is case fill and will need a new output shaft and adapter to the d20.
You could proably sell the combo to a mustang nut for some serious $$$. Orginal shelby parts are super rare and worth a ton.

Any chance it could be a HiPo 289? They are getting harder and harder to find. And someone restoring a pony car would probably really like to find one with correct numbers.

I was told it was a 289 with the Hipo heads. As soon as I get some # I will get back.
