you don't need to step all the way up to the agr or psc pump. you need to go to the saginaw pump i got mine off a lincoln with a 351M. it is a pretty popular swap. i did it on my bronco and I can steer my 35's with one finger.

you can even just get the saginaw brackets from BCBroncos, and buy a new chevy pump(about $40-50). West Coast Broncos, has everything you would want to buy, just in case you want more,Chuck

C'mon Dean...sometimes these post can get burried :wink: But thanks to the new guy(nbaffaro) checking out some older post, we were able to bring it to the top again. Well, atleast we didn't let it go unanswered :lol:

actually on a 79 you can go to advance auto or anywhere else and buy part # 20-6244
its a saginaw pump that bolts to the original ford bracket and it replaces the crappy plastic pump.
