I was wondering if anyone had done a electric fan swap? My fan shroud finally bit the dust, and I had 2 fans laying around. One is a 14" and the other a 12". I didn't have a problem running hot with the stock fan and shroud. Just curious if anybody has put on an electric one. Both fit perfect on the radiator. Thanks!

Dude go get you a thermostat swtich from PEPboys and you should never have a problem. Chuck has one and as far as I know has no issues. I just installed one on my six and have not over heated yet.

Just wanted to let ya'll know the fan swap went great. So far so good. I've been drivin' her from West Ashley to Mt. P. all this week, and so far she's only gotten up to 195. The Charleston summer is the real test though. Also noticed just a little bit more of "pickup" when I stomp it!!

Yeah, at Concord it got a little hot. Actually the hottest I've seen it. We were drivin around and going traffic light to traffic light. Once I hit those hills, she cooled down alot.

i put a taurus fan on my truck. has worked extremely well. i have it wired to a switch in the cab, there it runs to a bosch 75 amp relay. (ST77) I haven't had any problems with it. I did have the t-stat switch but it took a crap, so i axed it. Works well. I just let the t-stat get it warmed up.
