Nick from Nicktrix sent me this link to a company in Winston Salem and they are supposed to rebuild steering boxes. I will call them in the morning.

I talked with them at CJR this morning and plan to drop my box off with them in the morning. When done they will ship back to me. They seemed knowledgeable on the phone and hopefully it will be a local option for us in the future. Pricing was somewhere in the 250 to 300$ range according to what they have to replace after tear down and inspection.

Looking forward to seeing how it turns out as I purchased an original ps box that was told it needs seals but might just have them go through it if they do good work.

Try AGR in Texas they are 250 rebuilt with billet caps and front cover. They have been top notch to deal with.

West Texas Offroad gave me a price of $150 or so for a rebuild with all new seals. They also said they could turn my 6 turn box into a 4 turn box for another $150 or so. What is the problem with them so that I know before I end up taking mine off the rig?

Hopefully Snipes will sound off and tell you what they did to him Dixieboy. If you wnat you can read this thread to see what transpires in a transaction with them. http://www.cb4x4.com/forums/showthread.p...eering-box . All it takes is one aws-it to destroy consumer confidence.

It all boils down to there customer service is pretty terrible when dealing with issues. Any of the rebuild company's can do the 6 to 4 turn conversion for around the same price. If I remember right the rebuild and conversion was 300 ish from AGR. My advise would be to call and talk to the guys great people. For the recorded I also talked to PSC, they were great to deal with answered a ton of questions and I didn't even buy anything.

Dropped my steering sector off at CJR Products in Winston Salem this morning. Shop was impressive and Jeff was very nice to deal with.[Image: a9604b99a44aa1ff9a9c1d5e88ae69f5.jpg]
