Sleep in your bronco?
Look into a computer to kill some cylinders when they are not needed. But with all the drag from the motohome, I am pretty sure you will always need all 10 cyls. Right?

chevrolet and dodge does it too. when you're holding steady speed on the highway, the computer somehow shuts off 4 of the 8 cylinders... I have no idea how, tho...

I have never heard of any of those rigs getting more than 12mpg and those are the new models. Reducing weight and working on reducing drag is always a start but I seriously doubt that would even make a dent considering the typical front profile typical of them.
Wish I could be of better assistance but it sounds like there is not a lot that can be done.

Wait--you have a 32' long, 12' high areodynamic brick powered by a 400-and some odd cubic inch, 10 cylinder gasoline engine towing another brick on a 2 axle trailer--and you want good gas mileage? :hysterical:
Sorry...it had to be said. Wish I could help you!
