sell that rig, get a older dodge and a slide in and tow that beast while getting 13-14...and maybe 15 down hill with wind behind ya. I have no real thoughts on making it get better fuel mileage..except the obvious.
check tire pressure, fuel filters, air filters, maybe a wind spoiler in front of the tow trailer/bronco, and make sure the awning is put away during travel,Chuck

That is so funny...I was talking with Kathy about getting a Deisel tow rig(not dodge) and slide in camper two nights ago. She said that she is spoiled now and we can't go backwards.:hysterical:
I am thinking about something if its just me or just me and JohnPaul but really the comfort and convience is worth the price...kinda.
I will definetly be getting some things like a K&N air filter checking tires ect. I just have to try and drive more like grandpa I guess.
Wind spoiler in front of the Bronco? don't you think the air is going over it because of the height of the RV.
:hysterical: Put the awning up during travel. :hysterical: now thats funny right there :rebel:

Sorry, couldn't resist JP - I love my SuperDuty!
Let me ask in-laws... He's pulling a 5th wheel now, but still has the 350 motorhome. I'll see what he's getting without a trailer behind.
Yeah the deisel equal to what I got would have run me and extra $30-50,000
I would be willing to bet my payment on the RV ($525 / 10yrs) is less than some of yall's truck payments. And when it all falls apart at least I can live in mine.
So as little as I will travel for now could not see gettin the deisel "pusher" 10-4

Or trade up to a Stroker and convert to WVO!
I know... I know... they're much more expensive. Not taking anything away from that fact. Just nothing like that Whistle coming out from under the hood!!
Can't wait for my TW 6pos switch and guages to come in next week! (not to hijack thread)...
