Thanks for the encouragement. It is exciting - just getting the motor mounted was a milestone for me it feels like.

I've got to figure out how to mount the sag pump - BC's bracket may be the way to go since it'll hold a compressor too - my on-board air solution. I'll find an air tank from a tractor rig and look for a creative place to mount it (maybe where the aux. tank was?).

I've been talking to Jack (Ironbender) about his rear link set-up and hopefully we can come up with something for his "60 version."

By the end of this week I should have the front end back together so I'll have a 1/2 rolling chassis! I just gotta figure out if the caliper bracket came off of the front or backside of the spindle (Bryan is yours still together?) and how it was clocked.

Robert, I've been collecting some air tanks. I have one from a big rig(paid $20) and those small twin portable tanks...just got another. Been looking and I think they would work better. Should fit right in place of the old aux.gas tank. I too need to check out the bracket from BC. HTH<Chuck

Thanks Bryan - They do go behind the spindle. I was able to line up the old markings/bruises on the pieces to fit them back together. My driver side spindle gave me trouble - I guess he had thrown an inner wheel bearing and it had chewed up just enough of the spindle to prevent the bearing from fitting. A little time with the file she was back on.

High steer arms should be in next week and I'll get to work on the tie-rods and trac-bar. I gotta find the best deal on heim joints and tube. Does anybody have a tube schedule showing inside diameters of various schedules? I'm going to use the weld-in threaded bungs for the heims, but want to make sure I get the thickest wall possible while still large enough for the bung to fit in snug.
