Progress update,
I got out there a few weeks ago, swaped out my brake booster and master.
I have brakes!!!!!!! Still need to decide what to do about the carb, but other than a few leaks to fix and some adjustment on the c6 I think mechanicly its looking good.
I have sandblasted the bed floor, cut all the rust in the rear quarters and tailgait.
Still need to cut the rust in the front floorpans, rocker corners and some on the inner door edges. Then is the time consuming part, cutting and welding in all the patches.
My goal is to paint it before easter, if nothing else I will have it all primmered by then.
Have been working on a swing away spare tire rack that will hold a jerry can too.
Still looking for a screaming deal on a 8000lb winch for it.
Will post some more pics the next time I get something done on it.

I got back to this last weekend, still doing lots of body work. I realy hope to get all the welding done and have it in primer in the next few weeks.
It will get a winch eventuly, right now I need to get it driveable with no issues.
Have a bunch of parts for it, just need more time.
Some more progress pics, more to come next week.

Ok, I didnt get any progress work done on my full size. I spent most of my weekend working in the yard. I did manage to get a winch for my full size off ebay. Its not a name brand but it works, 9000lb with a roller fairlead and mounting plate. All for $172.

Oh, the bumper pic is what I'm going to make into a winch bumper for the full size. I bought the crew cab another rear bumper that is in better shape. So after I cut this one up it will be made into a good winch bumper with the winch plate that came with it.

Well I didnt spend too much time on it this weekend, the weather wasnt realy good for sandblasting outside. I did get the heater core pulled. It had been leaking since the orginal owner had it. He just never noticed it.
I also started working on my front bumper. It will start out as a rear bumper off my 71 crew cab. I scored a mint rear bumper at the salvage yard so I plan to cut this one up and make a front out of it. The winch plate I got with the winch will go down where the tag would have been. Chuck is going to help me out with some parts (old bumper). It will give me a bull bar plus some brush protection. I like the way its coming together. So far, $170 for winch and mounting plate, $50 for chucks bumper, = stout brush bumper.
I picked up a farm jack this weekend and I started to work on some mounts for it too.
An old army shovel was also recently rebuilt to be mounted inside with the jack.
Some pics of my work.
