The budget build
#91
Thanks guys, it was only $20 bucks more for brown over black! I got enough for the 8'bed, I had wanted to go over all of the wheel wells. But I wouldent have had enough to put good coverage if I had. I did put some chip guard over the wheel wells before I painted so that should help.
I have done nothing with the EB except rob some stuff off of it. If I can find a used 410 r&p I will put it together with the mini spool for now. I want to use the detroit in the full size since I will wheel it. I have even pulled the tags off it for now.
I am converting the windows over to power, so I still have a bunch of electrical work to do. Including wiring in the winch, radio w/amp and speakers. I still need to repaint the inside pannels and dash pad.
Lots of fine tuning to do, but I hope to have it driveable by the first of the year. Not sure when I will swap out the rear open for the detroit but soon.
Still going to add an extra brace for the winch too, and make a rear bumper.
Overall I am very happy with how its coming.

As some of you may know I named my EB "pepe" many years ago. Now welcome "pablo" to the famley.
I still have a kickdown cable to make and install the radio, make a center consol and do a bunch of wiring, plus build the rear bumper. Hope to have it buttened up in the next few weeks.
