Hey guys, thought I'd give an update on the progress of my full size. After driving it some I have found the lower steering columb bearing bad, the exhast is constricting the motor. The trans is weak.
I plan to install some headers and a new exhast system. A new steering colum bearing and C bushings. Need to get the mpg up before I can fix the final squeeks and wind noise. Will wait on the trans for now.
Overall, I have to say I like it. At first I wasnt sure could enjoy it as I do my EB. Turns out other than wishing it had a sun roof I'm enjoying it. More pics to come.

a friend of mine bought the engine out of the 79. I had ad can't use the headers he may want to trade for some stock manifolds

I have the stock manifolds and a short exhast system (home made duals) so let me know if he is interested. Other wise I will have to buy the headers in the next week or two.
I hope to work on the rear bench seat this weekend, I am going to recover the lower part with some left over gray vinyl.
Other repairs coming, the lower column bearing, C bushings and adjust the bands while the exhast is off. I also have a funny clunk in the right rear that will need further investigation once I fix this stuff.

It looks great! only problem is with the fuel prices like they are, you are gonna double your investment when you fill it up!!!!
