do you mean a 77? cuz an 87 wouldnt be a first gen :S lol...

but anyway, thanks for goin to the trouble of looking!

If it was a 77, that would make it like the last year (i think?) of the round headlight version? in which case I would absolutely LOVE to own that! haha!

No it's not an EB, it is a B2 1st gen. and it is a1987 XLT 5 spd.

Oopss lol completelyy misread that! I see you put BII in your post but with all the talk about re-shelling an EB with a BII i misread it as being an EB! My bad haha. Hmm well the fact that its a 5 speed is a plus, maybe if its still there in a couple months I'll get rid of the 89 an go for a 1st gen BII. Then I could do a retro lookin one.

Thanks for takin a look at it! :xyxthumbs:

To be honest I probably need to get back home, and end up doing something to one of em on a whim! Haha im so undecided about what would be best that I'll just do something one day and that'll be it an I'll be happy enough with that decision lol!! When I can't exactly mess with either of em, i get to thinkin far to hard about what ta do to em! Haha.

So on an unrelated note, is anybody on here from the greensboro, high-point area?

Hmm so I ran across something yesterday that really made me droollll :crying:

Saw a couple pictures of Pre-Runner Bronco II's, and it really got me thinking! Confusedupergrin:

I mean... Have a look at these:

Thats BAD A$$!!!

You can buy all the fiberglass parts to do it on this website:
http://www.mcneilracinginc.com/off-road-...index.htm#

And they also sell the conversion pieces to convert the front end to look like a new ranger.

If I just wanted the front and rear fenders to fit stright on a 90 BII, i'd be lookin $700 for all four. Didn't surpise me that much somehow, although paying 3 1/2 times what I paid for the Bronco seems bad! :hysterical:

ugh i shouldn't have just thought about it that way! :hysterical:

But anyway, I'd wanna buy myself a nice wrecked 4.0 gen 1 Explorer, then do a 4.0 conversion, an 8.8 disc rear-end swap, dana 35 front end, and some of those fender flares, plus a cage and some nice comfy buckets would make one sweett truck! Then down the road when i recover from paying for all those mods, I could go long travel! :xyxthumbs:

Imagine a truck with something similar to this bumper:

This Light rack:

And those fender flares, with possibly an updated style front end, on 32's or 33's with long travel suspention! That would be crazyyy cool lookin!! :toothy12:

And the thing about doing something like that is, that all the bodywork thats in poor condition on my 89, would be replaced or covered up by the fiberglass! :xyxthumbs:

Me likey this idea! Especially since I'm more into driving at speed than crawling through rocky trails! Not that I wouldn't do some of that too though! Confusedupergrin:

Hahaha! I think a prerunner BII would be awesome though!!

Wouldn't make a wonderful prerunner just because of the short wheelbase, but for lower speed stuff it would be ok, and it would just be soo cool!! :xyxthumbs:

I told you I think WAY too much! As soon as I can come home and start tearing into one of them, I'll have to stick with that plan and can finally stop changing my mind!! :bdent: Confusedupergrin:
