My 86 b2 build
#1
Well i got this b2 about 4 or 5 years ago. When i got it, it was not running. the lady told me that she had about 5 different shops look at it and none could figure it out. I did the basic tune up and then it still wasnt running. so i replaced the coil, distributer cap and rotery button, and still didnt fire. So now i had spark again and it was getting air but it wasnt getting gas. so i put a new pump in the tank and bam, fired up. Ran like dog crap for like 30 min. drove it up to the gas station to get her something to drink. drove her on to the new apartment that i had gotten. It ran for about 3 days then died. From here on out it was a 6 month period of runing and not runing. Well finally i figured it out and it was my relay for the fuel. So when i went to ford to get one they gave me something that fried my wiring. So finally i ended up hard wiring my fuel system to my battery. I ran it from my battery to a fuseable link then to a toggle switch then to the fuel pump wires right before the high pressure pump on the rail. The only other thing i had done at this point was add some off road lights on the front bumper.

For about 2 years i kept it like this. Then i finally got around to painting it. I was tired of looking at this fugly paint job.

Then i got a killer deal on a 6in skyjacker lift for the front -- $200. and started the install.

Then i got some larger tires. Some bald 31's. Then i got my rear lift put it, this consists of 3in blocks and lift shackles. Oh and i cut my front finders out of bordom.

Then finally i got some 35's but they were bald cuz they were free, but i was moving to a neighborhood with a homeowners association. I had to get some kind of rubber under it so i didnt look so bad and so that the homeowners association didnt think that i was still in the middle of the proect.

Then i got some rims for $20 total. And tried to paint it and i just didnt work out to well.

Just Playing around in the front yard now with my nephew.

Well this Christmas i got some new lights for the front bumper cuz my old ones had had enough, and i got some mossy oak seat covers.

Well at that point i noticed that i had some rubbing on the rear finder. So i trimed some off of the front part of the rear fender and now no rubbage. i dont have any pics of it but i did it.

Well next i decided i wanted to put it back into 4wd and have some fun. I never did once i got the 35's on because i knew the d28 wouldnt hold up to them. so i got a d35. well when i got it from the salvage yard it came with some extra goodies. so i took em off. if u look closely you can see that im sporting a cb4x4 hat!!!!!!

Well at this point i didnt have time to get anymore pics snapped of getting the d35 in. it took the rest of the night doing it by myself. that sucker is heavy!!

well ive got it all back together at this point and now ive gone mudding and popped my front coil out and ripped my brake line out. well here are the finished pics. got the coil back in but not the brake line.
This first one, you can see how much mudd is still left over even though it has rained for about 6 days since i got her muddy.
