c4 trans filter change spring and thing!

I just removed the trans filter and realized there was a spring/ thing that fell out. Does anyone know which way it goes back in? Thanks!cratchhe:

I believe that is the pressure relief valve. You can take some Vaseline and cram it in to the valve body to secure it till you get the filter back on. It should go in with the spring toward the filter and the flat part of the valve toward the valve body.
