You can get away with as little as 1/4" gap if u r sure it will not flex ormove into contact with lines.

I would definetly put a rubber hose over any line (especialy fuel) if its that close to exhaust. Realy should have 2" or more but you can put a sliced peice of rubber hose over the lines to prevent boiling the fuel (vapor lock) or brake lines. You can also make a heat shield like an OE builder would do.

Well I like all of what I hear. Dont look I need to reroute. Worst case use some of that heat shield wrap stuff of maybe some of those header sleeves for plug wires.

Anyways this what ive got. Dont laugh at those welds. I did not take my time and my welding instructer pa in law had to take a nap. Plan is to make sur I dont have any leakes, clean and VHT black.

Beautifully done. Just a FYI guys we used the Cherrybomb exhaust builder kit on Loco. CB kit comes with flex couplers which will allow you to solid mount the exhaust to avoid it rattling around. Here is a link and this place has great prices.

thanks dudley!! thats a nice kit...i just ordered a kit from speedway...it was about $30 cheaper...but did not come with flex couplings or 2 U bends. wish i had seen that kit sooner...ill keep it in mind now.
