I was wondering if anyone would say something about my jackstands ... or lack of ... it is actually pretty solid but definetly not the best way to go ... :hysterical: :toothy12: :hysterical:

Good to see your making progress JP, but tim is right, wood is usualy used under jack stands.:rubeyes: I would also spread them out some in the back too. Keep an eye on your pinion angle too, dont want to start spitting out driveshafts.:popc1:

My pinion angles should be fine the front got new(parts rig) 4* bushings and the rearend is the one that came out of the truck that had the 2 1/2" lift I got so that angle should be fine also ... we will see ... I hope to have have it back on safe ground this weekend ... :toothy12:

I think the new lift does not sit just right ... prolly gonna take a leaf out of the rear ... cratchhe:
Also my drive shaft seems to be a little short ... :banghead:
Also the first time I did my rear leafs I had them in backwards ... prolly cost me a half day's work ... :banghead: cratchhe: :banghead:
Also the brake drums don't fit my new axles ... about a half inch gap ...:mad:
Not real happy right now ... alot of work ... anyway I will leave it at that for now ... :crying: :bs: :angry: :crying:

dang, i think i might have checked into doing some disc in the rear. would bring more money for the axles when its time to sell again...just a thought.
