My son has an 85 Bronco (4.9,4spd) where the body is BADLY rusted. He also had an 85 F150 that we pulled the cab from. We're planning to mount the F150 cab on the Bronco frame. Apparently we'll need to fab the rear body mounts. We may have some wiring harness issues, since the F150 was a 5.0 auto trans.
Do you know anybody who's tried this? Suggestions?

You will have to use the wiring from the Bronco in the 150 cab, everything should go smooth as they are basicily the same truck...I do know the frame on the Bronco is shorter then the 150, so that will be your biggest challenge.. You might want to build a flat bed for it.....

Does anyone have the dimensions of the rear cab mount that we'll need to have fabricated? I'm guessing something 4 to 6 inches high. The F150 cab mounts in the rear appear to be a lot higher than the Bronco frame. Also, I guess it would be best to buy new bushings for a F150 cab, instead of a Bronco cab...
