Need Speaker Install Ideas
#11
Well, I finally found some time to get the sound system installed. I decided to go with 6 1/2s mounted in the the rear panels, 5 1/2s mounted in the doors, deck in the console, and amp under the passenger seat. I used baffles on the back side of each speaker to improve the sound.

Looks nice and clean. Did you have trouble finding a CD player that is capable of playing at vertical position. I know that some will and some won't. It looks like you have a mp3 jack in it too which will come in handy.

I just assumed it would play vertically Confusedcratchhe: Hopefully it won't give me any trouble. As luck would have it, as soon as I got everything hooked up, my master cylinder decided to crap out. I'm hoping to get in on the road soon. I really need to save some money for a disc conversion.

wakeboarding speakers sound AWESOME!!! i cannot speak for that particular brand, but wake boat speakers in general are designed to throw quality sound all the way back to the rider, and every boat i have ridden behind has done it very well. my last trip out i rocked out metallica while drinking the lake one force-fed mouthful at a time! LOL but the tunes were always audible... :xyxthumbs:

I thought the sound system was attached to the headers, what else do you need to hear? Confusedmokin:

:music::music: josephitguy, you are so right about the symphony played by those 302 headers, especially when you romp on the old accelerator pedal....Not even Dr. Bose and his acoustics can compare :xyxthumbs:
