Tomorrow I will be dropping off four rims and a tubular front bumper to the powder coater. I plan to go hammered black on bumper, but still torn between silver-grey (stock color for 76) or just plain off-white. My plan is to have an all off-white paint job down the road. Also getn the tires tomorrow at Tire Kingdom.

Thx guys, playing with my bronco has been slow. Play money has changed its priorities for the holidays. The LUBR idea may have to wait till I get back from across the pond next year.
On another thought, would a factory tire carrier handle a 33x10.50 tire on a stock wheel? As much as I love Chuck's rear bumper, I don't have the funds for an expensive rear bumper. I was thinking yesterday of having the entire factory tire carrier powder coated the same as my front bumper.

ive run 33's,35's on a stock tire carrier. the only problem with the 35...once it was opened all the way, the body would try to spread open too...making the tailgate a pain to open or close. i think if the body was tied to the cage it would help a great amount. 33's should be fine, just make sure all parts are good and tight...not sloppy and loose.

worked fine for my 33x10.50's. never had any weird issues with putting the tailgate in a bind or twisthing the body that I could tell.
Thx NCSU (especially for that azz whippin two weeks ago to my Tigers). My powder coating guy said he would do it in satin black for $35, same color as my front bumper. Thats for four pieces only (catch, two end pieces and tire rack). Now I gotta go find those pieces somewhere in my garage. I will probly ask the wife to get me new bushings and SS wingnut and cup.
