Bighorn Build Thread

The frame is back with 2 coats of epoxy and 2 coats of ceramic chassis black. It looks so much better in black that crusty rust! I started on the rear axle today and got it mounted. BC Bronco 3.5" Leafs, 5/8 ubolts, 4:56 Detroit, new bearings and seals, and Rear Discs. Working on the calipers in the morning.....

That is looking really good .. impressive

It does make things so much nicer and easier to work on when it's nice and clean.

Got the Radius arms and cups back from powdercoat. New BC 3.5" coils, 4 degree bushings, and BC adjustable trackbar. I've got to cut the trackbar down once the frame is loaded, so it'll have to wait to go to powdercoat. I also got one of the Solid D44 covers when they were on sale.....nice chunk of iron for the price.

Put the front knuckles on with new ball joints and mounted up the Bilsteins. Starting cleaning the 98 4r70w for some fresh paint. It had 60k miles on it so I'll replace the seals, filter, and use Baumans Recal Valve body. After mounting the knuckles, I think I'll go TRO with a stock pitman arm and no trackbar riser. That should set the draglink and trackbar parallel and close to the same length.
