Ya I was about to start asking about a TC. I am unsure of the condition of mine and need to start thinking about options. Nothing fancy or super high performance is necessary. I think $246 is a bit expensive for a TC on my application. Any suggestions?

I run an ACC Boss Hog ultra tow #2514 HD. It is not very "loose" but has a greater torque multiplication than stock. Works great offroad.
Remember that torque converter slip causes heat. To big of a converter on the trail will kill a tranny.

So we try and negate that problem by first not using a loose TC and also by implementing a good cooler and deep pan.
What did the Boss Hog run you? Probably more than I can afford. Are there any reasonable options?

I don't remember the exact price, but it was around $125.
